Don Cusick has been in the multimedia business for over 25 years. His experience in professional videography, photography, graphic design led him to a 12 year career with Eastman Kodak. His career with Kodak was focused on sales, marketing and management of the prestigious Kodak Processing Labs in Rockville, Maryland. His customers included professional camera stores, federal government and photographic professionals such as National Geographic. His 12 year career spanned the end of traditional photography and the beginning of digital imaging. In addition to his full-time career Cusick has always been an entrepreneur. In 1980 at the age of 17 he started his first business, wedding videography. This part-time business spanned 20 year and created additional income that fueled his passion for multimedia. On the onset of personal computers Cusick started his second business a part-time graphic design business using Apple computers in the mid 1980's. He had the insight to team up with a local printer and took over page layout work for flyers and business cards, saving layout productions costs for the printers customers while creating a revenue stream for his new found business. In addition to these part-time businesses Cusick also worked while attending college. For five years he managed a professional photographic lab and studio which was known for its quality of service and product. He had the opportunity to work with and learn from a third generation photographer from Paris, France who's grandfather started one of the first photographic businesses in Paris. In the year 2000 Cusick started his own marketing firm. For the first few years his focus was toward web design and internet consulting. As his client base has grown so have the service he offers. In 2002 Cusick Marketing was officially born. At present Cusick Marketing has a diverse group of clients and offers a traditional portfolio of marketing and advertising services. Cusick Marketing's clients include Law & Lobbying firms, Associations & Coalitions, Members of U.S. Congress, Pharmaceutical Companies, Home Improvement & Professional Contractors, and Small Businesses. Don Cusick holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, and M.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland. |
